Enabling 2FA on your HEXONET account is a quick process. The steps necessary are listed below.
Please note: each account will need to log in and complete these steps - enabling 2FA on your primary account will not automatically trickle down to any subaccount you have configured.
Enabling 2FA on your account will lead to login or session errors if the 2FA code is not provided during the API-Request.
- Login to your HEXONET Account Control Panel Login
- Navigate and click on your account name or organization (top right-hand corner)
- Click on Settings -> Security
- Open the '2-Factor Authentication' option
- Follow the instructions presented (A sample screenshot is below):
IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL STEP: If you're reselling over API or a 3rd-party Software like WHMCS, Blesta, HostBill et al, please create a user role as explained here and use that user role for your API connection in the registrar module's respective credential settings.
