Registrant Verification

The Registrant Verification (RV) process is a 15-day window during which a registrant must provide an affirmative response to an email that Hexonet sends to them. The verification process applies to all generic TLDs.

As an ICANN-accredited registrar, we are under obligation to verify registrant information of all domain holders who own gTLDs and nTLDs. All newly registered, transferred and modified domains are subject to ICANN registrant verification.

A verification email is sent out to the email address put down in the registrant contact and contains a link, which, when clicked, completes the verification process.

In case you cannot find the verification email in your inbox, you can use the Control Panel to re-send the verification email. To do that, go through the following steps:

1. Sign in to your Hexonet account;

2. Go to Domains -> Domain names -> Verifications;

3. Check if the email address in the Email column is correct;

3a. If the email address is correct, in the Action column click on the "Resend" button;

3b. If the email address is incorrect, a Trade might be required. If you do not have access to your old registrant email address, consult this article.
